Why RJC Certification Matters in Jewelry

The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is the leading global standards organization for responsible practices in the jewelry industry. RJC certification requires independent, third-party audits that evaluate ethical sourcing, human rights, environmental responsibility, and transparent business practices across the supply chain.

Like much of the jewelry industry, many materials used in fine jewelry are sourced and manufactured overseas. As a small brand, we can’t physically have eyes on every facility or every step of production. What we can do is choose suppliers who are held to verified, measurable standards.

At Sincerely Chain Co., we prioritize sourcing from reputable U.S.-based suppliers whenever possible, and when sourcing internationally, we work exclusively with RJC-certified wholesalers who are regularly re-audited for continued compliance. It’s the most responsible way we know to source materials we can stand behind.

It’s a quieter commitment—but an important one.
Because jewelry made to last should also be made responsibly.

Thoughtfully sourced. Intentionally made.
Sincerely,
Sincerely Chain Co.
